Why Should I Donate?

BlackpoolBands.co.uk has been helping the local music community for over 3 years by offering a free online forum and a place to advertise gigs. During this time it's been entirely funded by Stephen Skelly & more recently, Chris Sebok.

So we've decided to offer members the ability to donate as much as they like, as frequently as they like. Any donations will go solely towards the running and promotion of the site, which will ultimately give your bands and gigs more exposure.

Your donations will go towards upkeep (hosting, database & domain charges) to supply you with a better site & service, advertising (press coverage, posters, fliers & full size banners to place in clubs), which will ultimately give your band / venue / event more exposure to the public, and may even go towards hiring professional writers for the site (to be arranged!).

In return for a donation, your Blackpool Bands' account will be upgraded to one of the following:

Of course, donation is entirely optional - without a donation you still get access to band, user and venue profiles, not to mention the ability to add a single band and add your gigs to the site!

Please be aware that not all advertised services are currently available and will be added as and when they are developed.

If you would like to donate, please click the link below or make a cheque payable to "Blackpool Bands" and arrange to hand it to Stephen Skelly or Chris Sebok in person, as we presently have no trading address! Please write your Blackpool Bands' user alias on the back of the cheque. Once the cheque has cleared (please allow 7 working days) we will upgrade your account accordingly.
